Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home for Fannie Bell Kirkley Arinder, 98 of Collins, who passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Jefferson Davis Extended Care Center in Prentiss.
Brother Gary Roberts and Brother Carl Joe Arinder will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the McDonald Chapel Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Shawn Daughdrill, Neilson Joe Arinder, Carl Brent Arinder, Zachary Daughdrill, Hayden Daughdrill, Kyleigh Jones, and Cass Jones. Her flowers will be lovingly prepared by her granddaughter, Tasha Daughdrill Jones.
Mrs. Arinder was born on December 7, 1919 in Collins, Mississippi. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Arinder retired from the Columbia Training School after twenty two years of service as the Laundry Supervisor and Cottage Mother. She then later worked in the Dietary Department of the Covington County Nursing Center in Collins for seven years. Mrs. Arinder was a member of the Collins Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert F. Arinder; her parents, Edd William Kirkley and Lena Harriet Dearman Kirkley; a son-in-law, Kenneth Daughdrill; a daughter-in-law, Angelia Saulters Arinder; one sister, Bessie Kirkley Mooney; and four brothers, Walter Lee Kirkley, Hulon Kirkley, Henry Kirkley, and Olof Kirkley.
Survivors include one daughter, Robbienette Arinder Daughdrill of Collins; one son, Reverend Carl Joe Arinder, and his wife, Merna Sue H. Miller-Arinder of Mount Olive; four grandchildren, Shawn Daughdrill, and his wife, Regina, Tasha Daughdrill Jones, and her husband, Chris, Neilson Joe Arinder, and Carl Brent Arinder; four great-grandchildren, Zachary Daughdrill, Hayden Daughdrill, Kyleigh Jones, and Cass Jones; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
