Faye Arlivia (Harvey) Mooney, our precious mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to be with the Lord on December 11, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Myrtle Harvey, and her siblings, Rudolph Harvey, James Harvey, and Dorothy Lott.

Faye is survived by her devoted husband of sixty-five years, Talmadge Dewitt Mooney, her children, Teresa (Craig) Ladner and Jay (Monisa) Mooney, her grandchildren, who lovingly called her Mawmaw - Craig (Macy) Ladner, Jr., Travis (Perris) Ladner, Monica (Rick) Taylor, Daniel (Sarah) Mooney, and Mason Mooney, great grandchildren - Camaron Ladner, Rileigh Ladner, Conner Favre, Brinlee Taylor, Hudson Ladner, Odin Mooney, Brooklee Mignault, Zoey Mihalik, and Brailey Cook, and sisters - Elizabeth Lott, Cletys Sanford, and Sada Sistrunk.

Faye grew up in Collins and later made her home in Gulfport with her husband and children. Throughout her ninety-three beautiful years, Faye's greatest joy was her family. She found happiness in every holiday gathering, every shared meal, and every moment with those she loved, especially the babies! She loved attending her church and worshipping the Lord. Mawmaw was loved as a grandmother to many younger friends and church members. Her well-known, delicious desserts included our favorites - pecan pie and blueberry cake - which were frequently requested by her loved ones!

Through every season of life, with all of the challenges and the celebrations, Faye was the steady heart of our family. She was a constant source of love, humor, and kindness to everyone she met. Her legacy will live on in our hearts forever.

A visitation  will be held on Tuesday December 16, 2025 from 1-2 pm at Billy M. King / Colonial Chapel at 3202 HWY 49 Collins, MS.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 16, 2025 at 2 pm at Billy M King / Colonial Chapel at 3202 HWY 49  Collins,  MS

A graveside service will be performed at the Union South Baptist Church Cemetery , Seminary,  MS  at 3 pm.

The Billy M. King / Colonial Chapel Funeral Home  of Collins, Mississippi is in charge of services.
