Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Frances Burnham Herrin, 77 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at the Merit Health-Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.
Brother Reece Douglas, Jr. and Brother Everett Broome will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Blakely Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Jennifer Herrin Crosby, Brother Reece Douglas, Jr., Mr. Jerry Williamson, and Mr. Horton Sanders. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be David Herrin, Darron Herrin, Dawson Bush, Dusty Bush, Tyler Bass, and Zack Burnham. Honorary pallbearers will be Ethan Arie, Eric Kilpatrick, Kevin Herrin, and Josh Warren.
Mrs. Herrin was born on July 8, 1942 in Covington County, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Herrin and her late husband, Robert Glen Herrin, were the owners and operators of Herrin Farms for thirty years. Mrs. Herrin was a member of the Blakely Creek Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Robert Glen Herrin; and her parents, Novie Burnham and Ruby Lee Rutland Burnham.
Survivors include two sons, Ricky Herrin, and his wife, Tammie and Kyle Herrin, and his wife, Rena , all of Collins; three brothers, Stacy Burnham, and his wife, Ella Ruth, Rex Burnham, and his wife, Linda, and Mack Burnham, and his wife, Sharlotte, all of Collins; four grandchildren, Kayla Herrin Aries (Ethan), Shelly Herrin, Kelsie Herrin Kilpatrick (Eric), and Kassidy Herrin Bass (Tyler); five great-grandchildren, Payton Arie, Gracie Arie, Brentlie Bass, Ainsley Bass, and Kaylie Kilpatrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
