Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Frank Arnold Norris, 84 of Willis, Texas, who passed away on March 11, 2026, at the Conroe Medical Center in Conroe, Texas.
Reverend Alan Bird will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Collins City Cemetery. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi, 39428.
Pallbearers will be his nephews and great-nephews, Will Blankenship, James Jordan, Malachi Jordan, Michael Norris, Richard Norris, Jake Dickerson, Michael Dickerson, and Milton Pegram..
Mr. Norris was born on January 2, 1942, in Collins, Mississippi to Elmer Norris and Mattie Gentry Norris. He retired from Chicago Bridge and Iron after thirty-five years of service as a truck driver. He also worked as a police officer for the Collins Police Department for ten years. Mr. Norris was a member and deacon at the County Line Primitive Baptist Church in Willis, Texas. He was a loving husband, stepfather, and step-grandfather and will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mattie Gentry Norris; his first wife, Janie Myrle Speights Norris; three sisters, Kathleen Norris Walker, Gloria Mae Norris Jordan, and Frances Norris McDonald; and six brothers, Oscar James Norris, Billy Joe Norris, Jasper Norris, Johnson Norris, Dale Norris, and Albert Hugh Norris.
Survivors include his wife of fourteen years, Marion Blankenship Norris of Willis, Texas; numerous stepchildren, step grandchildren, and step great-grandchildren; one brother, Roland Glenn Norris (Jean) of Marble Falls, Arkansas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
