Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Geneva Pauline Nichols, 89, of Mize, who passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022, at the Landmark of Collins in Collins, MS.
Interment will be in the New Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Jonathan Hughes, David Starling, Donald Starling, and Charles Scott.
Geneva was a very active community member, especially with many children in the county. She was a professional seamstress at Neco for 22 years, and she sewed for private members for years following. She was also a cafeteria worker, school bus driver, and truck driver.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Terry Wendell Stuckey and Ulysses Grant Stuckey; a brother, Jesse Lavell Nichols; and a sister, Wydell Nichols.
Survivors include her son, Davey Joe Stuckey of Mt. Olive, MS; daughter, Britney Pauline Runnels of Mt. Olive, MS; grandchildren, Megan Renee Stuckey of Raleigh, MS, and Richard Thomas Catlin Stuckey of Mt. Olive, MS; brother, James Everett Nichols; and her niece, Doris Wydell Lowery (Charles) of Mize, MS.
