Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Geneva Hall White, 66 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at her residence.
Dr. Joseph Bird will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the New Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery in Mize. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be deacons of the First Baptist Church of Collins, Eddie Gibson, Gordon Goss, Martin Harvey, Wilson L. Ross, David Shoemake, and Greg Walker.
Mrs. White was born on September 11, 1955 in Magee, Mississippi to Tillman Shird Hall and Cloyce Margaline Hall. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. White retired as a loan clerk at Covington County Bank after eighteen years of service. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Collins where she was active in Sunday School and the choir.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tillman Shirld Hall and Cloyce Margaline Hall; and a brother, Ralph Hall.
Survivors include her loving husband of forty-seven years, Bobby Windle White of Collins; one son, Michael Neal White, and his wife, Blair of Brookhaven; one daughter, Monica White King, and her husband, Bryan of Vancleave; two grandchildren, Ava White and Greyson White, both of Brookhaven; two brothers, Chester Hall and Shelton Hall, both of Mize; one sister, Ineva Hall Hutchinson of Raleigh; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
