Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Williamsburg Baptist Church in Collins for George Henry Holder, 75, of Collins, who passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the Asbury House in Hattiesburg.

Bro. Blake McDaniel and Bro. Ronnie Purser will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Williamsburg Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.   Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements. 601-765-1010

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM on Monday, December 10, 2018 at the Williamsburg Baptist Church in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Blaise Holder, Addison Anglin, Risher Anglin, Alex Davis, Clifton Keys and Mel McDonald. Honorary pallbearers will be James Earl Anglin, Tony Owens and Chase Lee.

Henry graduated from Bay Springs High School in 1961.  After graduation, Henry joined the United States Air Force where he served for 4 years. In 1965, he married Dorothy Thigpen.  He began a 53 year career as a truck driver working for Miller Transporters, Inc. in Collins, MS.  After 13 years with Miller, he went to work with ExxonMobil and remained with them until his retirement.  After retirement, Henry continued to drive for numerous smaller companies and held the prestigious title of "The Oldest Truck Driver" in the Kola Area.  Henry loved his Lord, his country, his family, and his church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Risher and Blanche Bryant Holder.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Ann Holder, children, Risher "Ricky" Holder, Collins, MS, Bruce Holder (Linda), Collins, MS, Anzie Holder Anglin (Clay), Seminary, MS; grandchildren, Bailey Holder, Blaise Holder, Brylee Holder, Addison Anglin, Savannah Anglin, Risher Anglin; sister, Julia Holder Foster (Jamie), Laurel, MS and a host of nieces, nephews and other family.
