Georgia Ree was born on June 6, 1934, in Pineville, Mississippi, to George William Lott, and Katie Lenora Thornton Lott.  She was a graduate of the Salem School in Collins, and always enjoyed visiting with her classmates.  She was nominated as Queen of her high school reunion one year.  Georgia worked as a cashier at the Smith Curb Store for the majority of her working career.  Georgia was a loving companion, mother, mamaw, sister, and friend.

She had an outgoing, and bubbly personality, and enjoyed life to the fullest.  Georgia loved people and showed it in her own way-- she never missed a trip to with Junior to town to get the mail, eat breakfast at McDonalds, pickup lunch at the Piggly Wiggly in Seminary, or going to auto parts store.  Georgia always enjoyed visiting with her friends while she was in town.  Her happiest moments were sitting around her kitchen table, eating a big meal or just enjoyed a cup of coffee. Georgia loved spending time writing and journaling, studying her Bible, sending cards to her family members and friends, or shopping at thrift stores.  Georgia was a very loving soul and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George William Lott and Katie Lenora Thornton Lott; two brothers, Ray Lott and Denson W. Lott; and three sisters, Eula Mae Lott Wilson, Clemmie Lott Sullivan, and Ozella "Todie" Lott Spence.

Survivors include her life partner and soulmate, Thomas "Junior" Lott of Collins; one son, Steve Patton (Kay) of Mount Olive; two daughters, Rhonda Collins (Bobby) of Jacksonville, Texas and Martha Bagley Wallace (Steven Chan) of Woodstock, Georgia; five grandchildren, Bill Patton (Elisha), T.J. Spell (Christy), Tyler Spell (Crystal), Kandice Martin, and Jason Collins (Marie Fox); eleven great-grandchildren, Kylie Patton, Adeline Spell, Rivers Spell, Atlas Spell (due June 2025), Winston Dunn, William Dunn (Jordan), Bobbie Jane Collins, Gracie Collins, Fergie Collins, Maverick Collins, and Tripp Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made in her memory to the Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital, 2500 North State Street, Jackson, Mississippi, 39216, or to the Diabetes Foundation of Mississippi, 715 S. Pear Orchard Road, Suite 210, Ridgeland, Mississippi, 39157.
