Glenda Jean Sanders Williams

(September 13, 1962 – July 31, 2024)

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm on Friday, August 9, 2024, at the Oakdale Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary for Glenda Jean Sanders Williams, 61 of Springfield, Missouri, formerly of Jackson, who passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at the Springs Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center in Springfield, Missouri.

Reverend Boyd Thrash will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Oakdale Methodist Church Cemetery in Seminary.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Williams was born on September 13, 1962, in Seminary, Mississippi to Olan Louis Sanders and Geraldine Saulters Sanders.  She was a graduate of Provine High School in Jackson Class of 1981.  Mrs. Williams was a loving daughter, wife, and sister.  She was a member of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Williams; her parents, Olan Louis Sanders and Geraldine Saulters Sanders; and her grandparents, Willard and Lora Jean Saulters, and Dan and Pearlie Sanders.

Survivors include her brother, Don Louis Sanders of Springfield, Missouri, and a host of cousins and other family members.
