Gregory Doyle Williamson
(September 19, 1953 – November 14, 2024)

Graveside services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Williamson Family Cemetery in Sumrall for Gregory Doyle Williamson, 71 of Seminary, who passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at his residence in Seminary, Mississippi.
Brother Trent Williamson and Brother Clay Williamson will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Williamson Family Cemetery in Sumrall.    Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Family will receive guests from 10:30 am until 11:00 am on Monday, November 18, 2024 at the Williamson Family Cemetery, 10-52 Williamson Camp Road, Sumrall, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Finch, Stanley Windham, Allen Foster, Charles Herrington, Burt Williamson, Josh Williamson, Glenn Williamson, and Dwayne Withers.
Greg was a simple and happy man and worked hard to provide for his family. He was loved by all who knew him and was known as a gentle soul. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas  Ezra Williamson and Ella Virginia Townsend Williamson; two brothers, Thomas Williamson, Rex Williamson; and one brother-in-law, Jimmy Davis.
Survivors include his wife of fifty years, Edith Hall Williamson of Seminary, two sons, Michael Williamson of Seminary and Matthew Williamson of Seminary;  one daughter, Samantha Williamson of Prentiss; four grandchildren, Brently Smith, Bradley Williamson, Destiny Williamson and Hope Smith; three brothers, Glenn Williamson (Betty) of Petal, Podro Williamson (Becky) of Purvis and Burt Williamson (Suzanne) of Sumrall; four sisters, Kathy Williamson Foster (Edsel) of Sumrall, Sandra Williamson Herrington (Larue) of Sumrall, Regina Williamson Withers (Dwayne) of Sumrall and Ophelia Williamson Davis of Sumrall; three great grandchildren, London Herring, Paris Herring and Aria Herring and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
