Iona Noralene Byrd Moss

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2020, at the Bullock Cemetery in Sanford, Mississippi, for Iona Noralene Byrd Moss, 91, of Seminary, Mississippi, who passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020, at her home.
Brother Joe Lott will officiate with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Sanford, Mississippi. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Brian Moss, John Murphy, Jordan Mitchell, Kevin Lott, Don Lowery, and Greg Sullivan.
Mrs. Moss was a devoted member of Sanford Missionary Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies Bible Class. She loved gardening and made many beautiful quilts. She loved family gatherings and preparing food for them. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitt Moss; parents, Willie Edmund and Mavis Mooney Byrd; one sister, Hazel L. Craft; three brothers, John Everett Byrd, Grissett Byrd, and Jessie Byrd, two grandsons, Mark Craft and Justin Smith.
Survivors include one son, Jack Moss of Seminary; four daughters, Annette Moss Halpin (Bill), Evelyn Moss, Audrey Moss Woods (John), and Brenda Moss Lott (Jimmy Dale) all of Seminary; eleven grandchildren, John Murphy, Tommy Folkes, Julie Palmer, Jackie Dyar, LaHoma Moss-Martin, Tammie Moss, Bryan Moss, Kevin Lott, Sammy Lott, Ashley Acosta, and Johnny Woods; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Willene Sanford of Seminary, Retha Phillips of Moselle, and Shirley Beasley of Seminary, two brothers Palmer Byrd of Seminary and Martin Byrd of Seminary; and numerous nieces and nephews.
