Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Jack B. Crosby, 85 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Dr. Timothy Hubbard will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Crosby Cemetery in Seminary. Special music will be provided by Susan and Ricky Deen. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, and from 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, MS.
Pallbearers will be Keith Bullock, Mason Stringer, Odius Stringer, Russell Bullock, Jamie Jordan, and Casey Jordan.
Jack was born on September 24, 1940, in Seminary, Mississippi, to Harrison and Winnie Jones Crosby. He was a graduate of Seminary High School. Jack worked for New Orleans Furniture Company as a truck driver for twenty years before going to work for Delco-Remy as their shipping clerk for twenty-four years before his retirement. He proudly served in the National Guard for four years. Jack served as a member of the Seminary Board of Aldermen for twelve years; He was a member of the Seminary Baptist Church. Jack was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrison and Winnie Jones Crosby; three brothers, Aaron Crosby, Hershel Crosby and Harry Crosby; and two sisters, Mollie Crosby Bullock and Margaret Crosby.
Survivors include his wife of twenty-three years, Iris Bullock Crosby of Seminary; one son, Jim Crosby (Jennifer) of Collins; one daughter, Terri Crosby Jordan (Jimmy) of Ocean Springs; one step daughter, Cindy Harvey Henderson (Dan) of Collins; one step son, Jason Harvey (Whitney) of Seminary; three brothers, David Crosby and Freddy Crosby (Wanda), both of Eastabuchie, and Steve Crosby of Seminary; one sister, Hilda Crosby Parker of Seminary; three grandchildren, Jacob Crosby, Jamie Jordan, and Casey Jordan; two great-grandchildren, Jaxon Jordan and Eriena Jordan-Bellivan; four step-grandchildren, Austin Henderson, Conner Henderson (Taylor), J.D. Harvey, and Hayes Harvey; one step great-grandchild, Madelyn Henderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
