Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at The Springs Church in Collins for Jack Odum Duckworth, 75 of Collins, who passed away Sunday, February 13, 2022, in Columbus, Mississippi.
Reverend West Garner and Reverend Brian Dickens will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Reverend West Garner and Reverend Brian Dickens.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at The Springs Church in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Michael Kelly, Shannon McDonald, Josh Ellzey, Jared Beard, Greg Saulters, and Brent Wade.
Mr. Duckworth was born on Tuesday, September 24, 1946, in Collins, Mississippi to Charles and Hazel Odom Duckworth. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Duckworth was a truck driver for Martin Transporters in Hattiesburg. He was a member of The Springs Church in Collins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Charles Russell Duckworth; his parents, Charles, and Hazel Odum Duckworth; one brother, Chuck Duckworth; and his mother-in-law, Charlotte Adcox Hudson.
Survivors include his wife of ten years, Debra Nichols Duckworth of Collins; three sons, Brook Davis McCullough (Kristy) of Seminary, Patrick Chuck Duckworth (Lexie) of Magee, Landon Thomas Duckworth of Seminary, and Andy Turner of Heflin, Alabama; one daughter, Jacklyn Elizabeth Ball (Lemmie) of Lucedale; one sister, Betty Gibson of Collins; six grandchildren, Kelly Duckworth, Krista Duckworth, Lauren-Lee Ball, Opalyn Ball, Austin Turner, and Dylan Turner; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
