Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for James Anthony 'Tony' Sharp, 68, of Mount Olive who passed away on Sunday, June 18, 2017 at Covington County Hospital in Collins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 20, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins. Reverend John Barnes and Brother Bryson Haden will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive. Billy M King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Sharp was born Thursday, December 16, 1948 in Magee, Mississippi.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry Colbert Sharp and Jeffie Sullivan Reeves; his step-father, Corbet Reeves; son, Jimmy Sharp; and brother, Mack Sharp.

Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Geraldine Sharp,of Mount Olive; one daughter, Tawnya Sharp Davis; of Seminary; three sons, Brad White (Tammy), of Mt Olive, Timothy White (Angie), of Taylorsville, and Don White (Nan), of Birmingham, Alabama; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Brenda McLemore, and Debbie Ainsworth (Darrell), of Mt Olive.

Pallbearers will be Sean Cooper, Mike Davis, Jamie Sharp, Nathan Knotts, Christopher Knotts, and Anthony Knotts.

Honorary pallbearer will be Cory Yelverton.
