James Garnett Johnson

(June 2, 1945 – August 3, 2019)

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for James Garnett Johnson, 74 of Mount Olive, who passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at the Landmark of Collins in Collins.

Interment to follow in the Union Line Cemetery in Soso.  Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, August  4, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Collins, MS 39428.

Pallbearers will be Biily Tuggle, David Tuggle, Joe Ponder, Larry Hall, Anthony Weathersby, and Seth Garrett.  Honorary pallbearers will be Derek Clark

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. Johnson and Dorothy Lucile McLeod, sister, Shelia Diane Johnson.

Survivors include his brothers of Mt. Olive, Ernest Lee Johnson, Robert Andrew Chambless, Allen Dale Chambless, Steven Ronald Cabe, sister, Cynthia E. Holland of Petal, MS, multitude of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
