James Michael Moulds

(August 14, 1967 – July 8, 2023)

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for James Michael Moulds, 55, of Collins, who passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2023 at his residence.

Reverend Wayne Woolwine and Reverend Glenn Shoemake will officiate the services with interment to follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Music will be provided by Casey Tebo. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Moulds, Cody Moulds, Slade Moulds, and Casey Tebo. Honorary pallbearers will be Nick Newell, Lynwood Williams, Dr. Pat Sanford, and Bro. Ralph Sanford.

Michael was born August 14, 1967, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Howard and Mackie Moulds. He walked with the 1988 graduating class of Collins High School and lived the majority of his life in Covington County. He loved to sing and dance, drive cars, and watch Dukes of Hazard. He was a joyous blessing to his family and community, and he will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Mackie Louise Sanford Moulds; sisters, Jan Carolyn Moulds and Debbie Moulds Stewart; and two brothers-in-law, Kim Grayson and David Stewart.

Survivors include his siblings, Mackie Howard Moulds (Phyllis) of Seminary, Cara Moulds Overton of Collins, and Pam Moulds Grayson of Hattiesburg; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
