Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mount Olive for James Robert "Santana" Hussey, 82, of Mount Olive, Mississippi, who passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2020 at his residence.

Reverend Gary Roberts will officiate at the services with interment to follow at a later date at the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive.  Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Mount Olive will be in charge of the arrangements. (601-797-3811)

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 6:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 205 South Fourth Street, Mount Olive, Mississippi, 39119.

Pallbearers will be Justin Fails, Trace Knight, David Noverise, Travis Phillips, Kevin Kennedy, and Anthony Kennedy.

Mr. Hussey was born on Monday, January 31, 1938 in San Francisco, California.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother-in-law.  Mr. Hussey was a retired carpenter by trade.  He was a veteran of the United State Marines and served in the Korean Conflict,

He was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Knight Hussey; and his parents, Steven O. Hussey and Agnes May Cantwell Hussey.

Survivors include his children, Michael Hussey and Wendy Hussey Wolf, both of Hartville, Ohio, Joni Hussey Markham of Orange County, California, Michael Knight of Laurel, and Tina Knight Shoemaker of Mize; a sister-in-law, Joann Hall of Mount Olive; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his fur baby, Bella Rose; and a host of other family members and friends.
