Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 22, 2017 at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home for Jeanette Sanford Leggett, 77, of Collins, who passed away on Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Covington County Nursing Center in Collins.

Reverend Wesley Kirkley and Reverend Chad Cummins will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Eminence Cemetery in Seminary.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Leggett was born Thursday, June 08, 1939 in Collins, Mississippi. She retired after twenty years of service as a assembly line worker at Neco.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harmon and Jenny Lind Blackwell Sanford; her husband, Thomas W. "Nook" Leggett; and one brother, Willis Harmon Sanford.

Survivors include her son, Michael Thomas Leggett (Sherri) of Seminary; and daughter, Tammie McDonald (Bobby Gerald) of Collins; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Annette Pierce of Seminary, and Billie Sue Dickens (Harold) of Collins; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
