A Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Dyer Cemetery in Alma, Arkansas for Jeannette Joe Way Williams, 81 of Collins, who passed away on Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at her residence.
Interment followed in the Dyer Cemetery in Alma, Arkansas. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Williams was born on May 29, 1940, in Alma Arkansas. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Williams was a member of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel, and Ruth Foreman Way; one daughter, Crystal Williams; three sons, Edward Langley, David Langley, and Homer Langley; one sister, Marie Moore; four brother O.E. Way; Eddie Way, Billy Way, and Jimmy Dale Way.
Survivors include her husband, J.C. Shipp of Van Buren, Arkansas; four daughters, Kimberly Bryant (Christopher) of Collins, Ruthie Elwan (Ghaleb) of Dallas, Texas, Brenda Ellenbarger (Junior) of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Allison Brantley (Ryan) of Port Smith, Arkansas; one son, Frank Williams of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two brothers, Doug Way, and John Way; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
