Jennie Ruth Mooney, 78, of Seminary, MS died Sunday, May 28, 2017 at her residence in Seminary, MS. She was born Monday, May 22, 1939 in Lumberton, MS.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 30, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Sanford in Seminary, MS. Burial will follow in Bullock Cemetery in Seminary, MS. Rev. Paul Rogers and Bro. Ms. Jennie was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She was lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Sanford.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Mooney, father, Hubert Carr, mother, Margaret Carr, granddaughter, Melissa Dean, brother, J.W. Carr, sister, Helen Faye Boone, sister, Doyle DeLoach and sister, Christine Ellis.

Survivors include her daughter, Helen Watts (Lamar), Seminary, MS; son, Ralph Neal Mooney, Seminary, MS; grandchildren, Jason Mooney (Mandy), Collins, MS; Nacole Loftin (Jeremy), Soso, MS; Jonathan Watts (Shonna), Raleigh, MS and James Watts, Seminary, MS; great grandchildren, Christopher Watts, Raleigh, MS; Dominic Deen Donatto, Hanna Donatto, Hailey Donatto, all of Colorado Springs, CO; Laken Calhoun, Collins, MS; Lexi Ramos, Soso, MS; Taylor Watts, Raleigh, MS; Zack Watts, Raleigh, MS and Cruz' Loftin, Soso, MS; sister, Maggie Jenkins (Horace), Lumberton, MS; brother, George "Buddy" Carr, Lumberton, MS; brother, Billy Carr, Lumberton, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
