Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Jerry Ray Breland, 76 of Sanford, who passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2017 in Eastabuchie, Mississippi from injuries sustained in a motor-vehicle accident.

Reverend Brian Dickens will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Sanford. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Robert Taylor, Jack Crosby, Josh Breland, Joel Dickens, T.J. Bullock, and John Keen, Jr. Honorary pallbearers will be Marty Smith, Jr. and Shane Keen.

Mr. Breland was born on June 4, 1941 in Midnight, Mississippi. He was a loving father and grandfather. Mr. Breland retired from the Construction Industry after forty plus years of service. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sanford.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Callie Duffie Breland; two sisters, Maxine Anderson and Lucille Mooney; and two brothers, Albert Jefferson Breland, Jr. and Robert Breland.

Survivors include three daughters, Penny Breland Sims and her husband, Timothy of Bay Springs, Lisa Breland White and her husband, Marvin of Seminary, and Sandy Breland of Metarie, Louisiana; one son, Murphy Breland, and his wife, Dawon of Boyceville, Wisconsin; one sister, Molly Breland Keen of Petal; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
