Obituary

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Mount Olive for Jimmy Dale Lee, Sr., 75 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Arrington Living Center in Collins.

Reverend Bryson Haden, Reverend Dewitt Bain, and Reverend Jim Ingram will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Sandra Sullivan, Reverend Bryson Haden, and Mr. Eddie Jenkins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Shiloh Baptist Church and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Shiloh Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Chase Lee, Cory Lee, David Sullivan, Rogie Sullivan, Eddie Jenkins, Joe McKissack, Chuck Lee, and Chris Lee. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Shiloh Baptist Church.

Mr. Lee was born on July 4, 1942 in Collins, Mississippi. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Lee retired from Plantation Pipelines as an area manager after thirty five years of service. He was a member and deacon of the Shiloh Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Morris Lee and Vera Jordan Lee.

Survivors include his wife of fifty five years, Dana Rogers Lee of Collins; one son, Butch Lee of Collins; two grandsons, Chase Lee and Cory Lee, both of Collins; one sister, Sandra Lee Sullivan of Mount Olive; one brother, Charles Ray Lee, and his wife, Virginia of Mize; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
