Jimmy Dale Lott

(January 5, 1962 – May 13, 2023)

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Jimmy Dale Lott, 61 of Seminary, who passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at his r esidence .

Brother Joe Lott will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Seminary. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm on Monday, May 15, 2023, and from 9:00 am until service time on Tuesday, May 1 6, 2023 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3 2 02 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Paul Lott, Harvey Lott, Austin Lott, Sam Herrin, Roland Dossett, and Bobby Brooks.

Mr. Lott was born on January 5, 1962 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Bill and Joan Grantham L ott . He was a graduate of Seminary High School Class of 1980. Mr. Lott retired from Forrest General Hospital and Souther n Neu r olog ical a nd Spinal Instit ute of Hatti e sburg after thirty - years of service as a Maintenance Director. He was a member of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Lott was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends , and will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Joan Grantham Lott; and one brother, Roger Lott.

Survivors include his wife of forty-one years, Brenda Kaye Moss Lott of Seminary ; two sons, Kevin Lott (Kara) of Seminary and Samuel Lott (Chloe) of Oak Harbor, W ashington; one brother, Larry Wayne Lott (Denise) of Seminary; t w o sisters, Judy Lott Napier of Ocean Springs, and Sandra Lott Fitchorn (Peter) of Ocean Springs; three grandchildren, Ha rper Lott, Norah Lott, and Ever Lott; and a host of nieces and nephews.
