Jimmy Lovice Shoemaker
(December 30, 1942- February 20, 2022)

Jimmy Lovice Shoemaker, 79 of Brandon, MS passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022, at his residence in Brandon, MS. He was born Wednesday, December 30, 1942, in Ludlow, Mississippi.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home at 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Sanford in Seminary, MS. The burial will follow in Bullock Cemetery in Seminary, Mississippi. Brother Steve Wilson, and Brother Ken Walters will officiate. Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 601-765-1010

Mr. Shoemaker was a member of Meadow Grove Baptist Church of Brandon Mississippi. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and most of all spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his first wife (the mother of his two oldest children), Shelby Doris Shoemaker; father, Cicero Shoemaker; mother, Letha Boyd Shoemaker; and brother, Wilson Shoemaker.

Survivors include his loving wife of thirty years, Trudy Fulgham Shoemaker of Brandon, MS; sons, Jeremy Shoemaker of Brandon, MS and Shelby Shoemaker (Louise) of Seminary, MS; daughters, Jayme Shoemaker of Brandon, MS and Satoy Shoemaker Bryant of Seminary, MS; grandchildren, Sonya Bryant and Kayla Shoemaker and Jesse Shoemaker (Emily) and James McMichael and Jennifer Hill; Thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, J.B. Shoemaker (Brenda); and a host of other family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Buddy Hobbs, Tony Anderson, Keith Drennan, J.P. Dunn, Randy Shoemake, Mike Morgan, Payton Hill, and Jason Taoramina.

Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Hill, Tyler Hill, and Jesse Shoemake.
