Joel Lynn Seger
(November 26, 1984 – January 10, 2026)

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Joel Lynn Seger, 41 of Seminary, who passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at his residence.

Family and Friends will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Ora Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive guests from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Bryant Raby, Jason Teague, Dusty Wallace, Allen Dennis, Ben Pickering, Michael Buckley, Josh Pearce, and Billy Saulters.

Joel was born on November 26, 1984, in Laurel, Mississippi to Doyle Ray and Patricia Hosey Seger.  He worked for James Machine Works, LLC. in Monroe, Louisiana for eighteen years before going to work for Danos, LLC as a production operator in the oil and gas industry for the last few years.  Joel was a member of the Baptist faith and attended The Springs Church in Collins.  He loved spending time with family and friends and always enjoyed having a good time. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend to all who knew him, and he will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle Ray and Patricia Hosey Seger; and one brother, Shelby Maxwell.

Survivors include his wife of nineteen years, Felicia Dowell Seger of Seminary; four daughters, Katelyn Seger, Lakin Seger, Kylie Seger and Brianna Seger; one brother, Dewayne Seger of Biloxi; one sister, Charlotte Maxwell Teague (Jason) of Clarksville, Arkansas, and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
