Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church in Seminary for John Martin Faler, 71 of Moselle, who passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Collins.
Brother Joe Lott, Brother Clay Williamson, and Brother Phillip Cooper will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Regina and Richard Ellis. Billy M, King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church in Seminary.
Pallbearers will be John Michael Faler, Lane Crosby, Jessie Geiger, Jimmy Davis, John Loveless, and Pete Graham.
Mr. Faler was born on September 22, 1946 in Collins, Mississippi. He was a loving father and grandfather. Mr. Faler retired from Big K Oil Company after ten years of service as a supervisor. He also worked in the automotive industry as a mechanic. Mr. Faler was a member of the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Martin Faler, and Erma Jean Buckalew Faler, one son, Anthony Faler; and two sisters, Carol Faler Walters, and Jeane Faler Demoruelle.
Survivors include two daughters, Carol Faler Crosby, and her husband, Greg of Seminary, and Rebecca Faler Ellis, and her husband, James Russell of Seminary; two sons, Greg Faler, and his wife, Donielle of Sumrall, and Vincent Faler of Moselle; the mother of his children, Carolyn Riels Faler of Collins; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members.
