Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for John Thomas Reynolds, 72 of Seminary, who passed away on Monday, November 4, 2024 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Brother Doug Manning will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Seminary Cemetery in Seminary. Special music will be provided by Matthew Pickering. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, November 8, 2024 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Randy Daniel, Kyle Sullivan, Crawford Sullivan, Wayne Grice, Greg Sullivan, Mark Young, Roger Sanford, and Billy Shotts, Jr.
Tom was the voice of the Seminary Bulldogs for many years. He enjoyed announcing football games, and going to watch the Seminary Baseball games. It gave him great joy to watch his children and grandchildren play ball. He was passionate about sports and sitting in the "Dawg Pen," He loved and was proud of the town of Seminary. He was a Bulldog through and through and their biggest fan. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John G Reynolds and Evelyn Quick Reynolds; one brother, Homer Reynolds.
Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Rebecca Welch Reynolds, one son, Zachary Reynolds and one daughter, Jessica Reynolds all of Seminary; eight grandchildren, Lainey Revette, Riley Revette, Myles Revette, Kyzar Revette, Kenzley Revette, Skyler Reynolds Mitchell (Christian), Waylon Reynolds and Nolan Reynolds; one brother, Gaines Reynolds (Angie) of Seminary; one sister, Angela Tillman (Andy) of Purvis; and two great-grandchildren, Hattie Mae Revette and Josiah McCullum.
