Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Old Chapel Cemetery in Collins for Johnie Mae Johnson, 84 of Collins, who passed away on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Landmark in Collins, Mississippi.
Brother Ken Hickman will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Old Chapel Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive guests from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Old Chapel Cemetery, 212 Wilson Road, Collins, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Johnson, Anthony Polk, Will McNeese, Trent Hanegan, Paul Johnson, Will Driskill, Aaron McNeese and Adyen Eisworth.
Johnie worked at the Extended Care Facility in Prentiss, Mississippi for seventeen years and also worked for many years at Stevens Sportswear in Collins as a supervisor. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Johnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all who knew her, and she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Johnson; her parents, Claude Daley and Annie Robins Daley; three brothers, Tony Daley, Kenneth Daley and Kelton (Buddy) Daley; and two sisters, Patsy Daley McNeese and Mary Beth Daley Waltman.
Survivors include her two sons, Gary Johnson of Collins, and Kenny Johnson of Collins; one sister, Katherine Barrett of Carson; three grandchildren, Christopher Johnson, Ayden Eisworth and Jamison Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
