Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, 2020 at the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive for Joseph Stacy Burnham, Sr., 81 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his son's residence.
Reverend Terry Ballard will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Mark Russell, Brett Anderson, Destin Rivers, Matthew Burnham, Adam Welch, and Cagan Welch.
Mr. Burnham was born on December 16, 1938 in Mount Olive, Mississippi. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Burnham was a farmer by trade. He was a member of the Baptist faith. Mr. Burnham was a member of the Oak Hill Masonic Lodge #553 in Magee, Mississippi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buford Novie Burnham and Ruby Lee Rutland Burnham; and a sister and brother-in-law, Frances Burnham Herrin and Robert Glen Herrin.
Survivors include his wife of fifty-nine years, Ella Ruth Dickens Burnham of Collins; one son, Joseph Stacy "Joey" Burnham, Jr. of Seminary; 3 grandchildren, Lyndsi Burnham Anderson (Brett) of Collins, Lesli Burnham Bravo (Jason) of England, and Landri Burnham Rivers (Destin) of Ellisville; eight great-grandchildren, Preston, Presleigh, Pinleigh, Parkleigh, Gabriel, Hudson, Lakelynn, and Houston; two brothers, Mack Burnham, and his wife, Sharlotte, and Rex Burnham, and his wife, Linda, all of Collins; two sisters-in-law, Iris Dickens Barrier, and her husband, Darth of Collins, and Willie Dickens Russell of Petal; and a host of nieces and nephews.
