Juanita Graves Polk

(April 15, 1932 – January 30, 2026)

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Juanita Graves Polk, 93 of Collins, who passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the Landmark of Collins.

Interment will follow in the New Chapel Pentecostal Church Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, MS.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Smith, Dale Polk, Obie Casteel, Brandon Yates, Anthony Polk, and Frankie Casteel. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathaniel Sistrunk, Bryan Wade, Cole Wade, and Herman Pope.

Mrs. Polk was born on April 15, 1932, in Collins Mississippi.  She was a homemaker by trade.  Mrs. Polk was a member of the New Chapel Pentecostal Church in Collins.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Mrs. Polk loved to cook and bake for her family.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and will be greatly missed by them all.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Willard Polk; her mother, Pearl Graves Casteel; and one brother, Frankie Casteel.

Survivors include two daughters, Becky Polk Crosby (Tommy) of Seminary, and Debby Polk Vaughn of Collins; one son, Andy Polk of Collins; seven grandchildren, Rachelle Wade (Bryan), Brandon Yates, Amanda Smith (Shannon), Nenah Crosby, Hayley Silver, (Thomas), Anthony Polk (Callie), and Landee Polk Sistrunk (Nathaniel); fifteen great-grandchildren; one nephew, Obie Casteel (Marie) of Seminary; and a host of great nieces and great nephews.
