Julia Sue Eaton Baughman
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Julia Sue Eaton Baughman, 84 of Wiggins, who passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Gulfport Memorial Hospital in Gulfport.
Brother Billy Reyer and Brother Brent Long will officiate at the services with interment to follow in Smyrna Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Carrie Long, Mr. Stewart Smith, and Mr. Rodney Beech. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3202 Highway 49, Collins, Mississippi, 39428.
Her pallbearers will be Greg McRaney, Brian McRaney, Stephen Mauldin, Kevin Mauldin, Jeremy Baughman, Matt Baughman, Drew Baughman, and Stewart Smith.
Mrs. Baughman was born on July 31, 1942, in Seminary, Mississippi to Clarence and Susie Ward Mauldin. She retired from the United States Postal Service as a mail carrier after numerous years of service. Mrs. Baughman was a member of the Sunflower Baptist Church in Wiggins. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Susie Ward Mauldin; her husbands, Kelery Eaton and Thurman Baughman; and three brothers, Willard Mauldin, Oscar Mauldin, and Randy Mauldin.
Survivors include one son, Mike Eaton of Laurel; two daughters, Lisha Eaton Thornton (Billy) of Hoover, Alabama, and Susan Eaton Gentry (Jay) of Wiggins; two sisters, Teresa Mauldin McRaney of Bassfield, and Carolyn Mauldin Bullock of Phoenix, Arizona; four grandchildren, Tyler Gentry (Trinity), Alex Gentry, Bryce Thornton (Jeanne), and Quinn Thornton; one great-grandchild, Avery Gentry; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
