Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at the Collins Civic Center in Collins for Kacey Lynn Workman, 32 of Collins, who passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.
Brother Michael Miller Jr. will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Leaf River Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Collins Civic Center, 3220 U.S. Highway 49 in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Jake Duckworth, Clint Collum, Jake Harrell, Denny Lepard, Ethan Schwarz, and Dalton Schwarz. Honorary pallbearers will be Jay Magee, Bobby McDonald, Donald Schwarz, Tom Buckalew, David Buckalew, Reece Lowery, Mitchell Whatley, Jeff Miller, and Russtin Miller.
Kacey was born on July 17, 1989 in Brookhaven, Mississippi. He was a loving father, son, and brother. Kacey worked for numerous years as a roughneck in the oilfield. He was currently employed by Munn Enterprises as a sign installer. Kacey was a member of the Leaf River Baptist Church in Collins. He was an organ donor and he has helped several recipients with the gift of life through his donation. Kacey was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Robert Lynn and Truitt Magee; his uncle, James Magee; and his great uncle, Julius Quick.
Survivors include his son, Caleb Bryant of Collins; his mother, Reka Lynn (Bobby McDonald) of Collins; his father, David Workman of Mendenhall; his girlfriend, Emilia Rosales of Pass Christian; two sisters, Kasie Duckworth (Jake) and Tasha McDonald, both of Collins; two brothers, Jason Workman of Louisiana, and Josh Workman of Jackson; two nephews, Kurt and Jensen Duckworth; his grandparents, Josephine and Wiley Tom Wade of Collins and Mary Lynn of Seguin, Texas; his aunt, Stacie Schwarz (Donald) of La Vernia, Texas; his uncles, Jay Magee (Mooney) of Collins, Tom Buckalew (Susan) of Roscommon, Michigan, and David Buckalew (Barb) of Russellville, Arkansas; and a host of cousins and friends.
