Katherine Graham Abercrombie
(October 28, 1935 – November 15, 2025)

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Willow Grove Baptist Church in Collins for Katherine Graham Abercrombie, 90 of Seminary, who passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS.

Reverend Lee Faler and Reverend Billy Purser will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Willow Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Julia Rae Graham. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at the Willow Grove Baptist Church, 979 Willow Grove Church Road, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be David Hendry, Jacob Hendry, Brandon Thrash, Clay Magee, Gary Doyle Smity, and Steven Purser. Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandsons, John Hardy Thrash, Luke Thrash, William Hendry, and Wyatt Hendry.

Mrs. Abercrombie was born on October 28, 1935, in Jefferson Davis County, Mississippi to James Marion Graham and Myrtle Delilah McRaney Graham. She retired from Commercial National Bank after thirty-one years of service in the Proof /Safety Deposit Box Department. Mrs. Abercrombie was a member of the Willow Grove Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Mrs. Abercrombie enjoyed spending time with her family and will be greatly missed by them all.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Sue Abercrombie; her parents, James Marion Graham and Myrtle Delilah McRaney Graham; three brothers, David Eugene Graham, Kenneth Edwin Graham and Joseph Maxwell "Mack" Graham; two sisters, Huldah Jane Graham Ingram and Nellie Graham Smith.

Survivors include her husband of seventy-one years, Issac Hardy Abercrombie of Seminary; one daughter, Jan Abercrombie of Seminary; one brother, Billy Sam Graham of Picayune; four grandchildren, Daniel Stephen Hendry (Catie), David Alan Hendry, Jacob Andrew Hendry (Mandy), and Rachel Kaitlyn Hendry Thrash (Brandon); ten great-grandchildren, John Hardy Thrash, William Hendry, Ezra Hendry, Margot Hendry, Wyatt Hendry, Adrienne Hendry, Luke Thrash, Lawrence Hendry, Winsley Hendry, and Rowdy Thrash; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
