Kathleen McDaniel Arrington

(December 28, 1922 – December 2, 2021)

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the Seminary Cemetery in Seminary for Kathleen McDaniel Arrington, 98 of Lumberton, who passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Reverend Brad Ford will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Seminary Cemetery.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Eure, Jason Lawler, Cole Eure, Logan Eure, Austin Lawler, and Tanner Boleware.

Mrs. Arrington was born on December 28, 1922 in Smith County, Mississippi to Mexia and Lena Jane McDaniel.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Mrs. Arrington graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Master's degree in Education.  She retired from William Carey University after twenty-five years of service as a Business Professor.  Mrs. Arrington was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church in Lumberton.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvert Jackson Arrington; her parents, Mexia and Lena Jane Benson McDaniel; and a host of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Charleen Arrington Pav of Lumberton; two granddaughters, Jodi Eure (Jamie) and Dena Lawler (Jason); four great-grandchildren, Cole Eure, Logan Eure, Ashlyn Lawler, and Austin Lawler; and a host of nieces and nephews
