March 5, 1956 – January 25, 2020
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Kimberly Hendrix "Kim" Grayson, 63 of Vancleave, who passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his residence.
Reverend Mike Davis and Reverend Steve Miller will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Janice Loftin. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Boone, Lindsey Carter, Zack Mixon, Mackie Moulds, Halsey Cumbest, and Herman Hollensed. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Cook, James Liles, Nick Newell, Dennis Lepard, Trent McPhail, and Tommy Thompson.
Mr. Grayson was born on March 5, 1956 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. He graduated from Forrest County Agricultural High School in 1974, and attended Pearl River Community College where he received an Associate of Arts degree in Forestry. While at Pearl River Community College, he was active in the Wildcat football program. Mr. Grayson also attended the University of Southern Mississippi. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Mr. Grayson was a self-employed paralegal and abstractor for numerous years. He was a member of the Cold Springs Baptist Church.
Mr. Grayson was an avid fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed playing and coaching several different sports. He was a mentor to a lot of the youth that he coached over the years. Mr. Grayson will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Reuben Eugene Grayson Sr. and Emma Louise Shivers Grayson; his nephew, Gray Massey; his father-in-law, James Howard Moulds; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Debbie and David Stewart.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-one years, Pamela Moulds Grayson of Vancleave; one son, Phillip Grayson, and his wife, April of Mobile, Alabama; two daughters, Tiffany Campbell, and her husband, Matthew of Moselle, and Paige Grayson-Holder, and her husband, Jocolby of Hattiesburg; one sister, Vicky Grayson Massey of Gastonia, North Carolina; one brother, Reuben Eugene "Rick" Grayson Jr. of Hattiesburg; seven grandchildren, Alex, Samuel, Chase, Hagen, Hudson, Holden, Jace Hendrix, and Lyndzie; his mother-in-law, Mackie Sanford Moulds of Seminary; one sister-in-law, Cara Overton of Seminary; two brothers-in-law, Mackie Moulds, and his wife, Phyllis of Seminary, and Michael Moulds of Seminary; and a host of nieces and nephews.
