Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home for LaKieta Ann Harvey Walker, 56 of Collins, who passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her residence.
Elder Reese Douglas, Jr. and Mr. Carl Sanders will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Ora Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Renee Bankens and Mr. Daniel Harvey. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 29, 2018 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.
Pallbearers will be John Lynes, Aidan Runnels, Christopher Malone, and Nathan Kent McKenzie.
Mrs. Walker was born on February 6, 1962 in Collins, Mississippi. She was a graduate of the Collins High School Class of 1980. Mrs. Walker was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and homemaker. She was a member of the Blakely Creek Baptist Church in Collins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Dale Harvey.
Survivors include her husband of thirty-nine years, Ricky Devon Walker of Collins; her mother, Gelina Ann Randall Harvey of Collins; one son, Richard Anson Walker, and his wife, Karie Beth of Collins; one daughter, Devonna Ann Walker Robbins, and her husband, Brent of Bassfield; two brothers, Ronald Dale Harvey and Darrell Keith Harvey, both of Collins; two sisters, Carol Ninette Harvey Wade of Hebron and Lori Deniece Harvey Wells of Laurel; five grandchildren, Micah Robbins, Layla Robbins, Abbi Robbins, Daniel walker, and Kylie Brooke Walker; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
