Larry Preston Windham

(September 6, 1950 – December 29, 2019)

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the Billy M. King Funeral Home in Collins, for Larry Preston Windham, 69 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2019 at his home.

Reverend Gary Bridges will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Kelly-Windham Cemetery in Seminary with military rites at graveside.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2020, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Christian Carter, Michael Carter, Cody Carter, Joseph Windham, Shane Carter, and Jake King.

Mr. Windham was born on September 6, 1950, in Covington County.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother.  He served our country in the United States Army.  He was avid hunter and fisherman.  He was retired from construction worker.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben, Jr. and Laverne Tanner Windham; one brother, Terry Windham.

Survivors include his wife, Judith "Judy" Windham of Seminary; one daughter, Tina Carter and her husband, Buster, of Collins; one brother, Kim Windham and his wife, Mary, of Seminary; two sisters, Linda Burnham and her husband, Rex, of Collins, and Diane McDonald of Seminary; four grandchildren, Shane Carter, Christian "Dave" Carter (Katelynn), Cody Carter (Jessie), and Kellie Carter; and a host nieces and nephews.
