Lena Fay Ponder

(March 1, 1941 – August 11, 2019)

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Lena Fay Ponder, 78 of Seminary, who passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at her residence.

Bro. Reese Douglas will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Fellowship Cemetery in Taylorsville, MS.  Special music will be provided by Carolyn Prince and Martha Douglas.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, Collins.

Pallbearers will be Dusty Allen, Chad Stewart, Eric Windham, Cameron Windham, Hadden Allen and Ethan Banister.

Lena loved her family.  She was an industrious person who was committed to her work.  She was a member of Sunset Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Rosie Gray Sellers; siblings, Annie Jewel Sellers, Helen Sellers, Travis Sellers, Charles Sellers, Margaret Sellers, Sonny Sellers and John Sellers.

Survivors include her daughters, Gail Allen (Bobby), Collins, MS,  Wanda Stewart, (Robby), Collins, MS and Joy Windham, Seminary, MS; grandchildren, Valerie Allen, Seminary, MS, April Patrick (Joe), Laurel, MS, Dusty Allen, Collins, MS, Chad Stewart (Margie), Collins, MS, Eric Windham (Abby), Ellisville, MS, Cameron Windham (Carlie), Seminary, MS; great grandchildren, Hadden Allen, Ethan Banister, Emma Banister, Gabe Windham, Chester Patrick, Waylon Windham, Jada Stewart; brother, Kent Sellers, Collins, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
