Leslie Dale Powell
(September 17, 1953 – August 19, 2024)

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date for Leslie Dale Powell, 70 of Taylorsville, who passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at his residence.

Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend.  He enjoyed being around his family. He will be dearly missed by all who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Blackwell Powell and parents, Leon Leslie Powell and Christine Smith Powell.

Survivors include his son, Leslie B. Powell (Margo) of Smithdale, Mississippi;  daughter, Andrea Powell Blackwell (Bo Cloy) of Loyd Star; two grandsons, John Blackwell and Seth Powel; and two granddaughters, Ashley Cloy and Kiele Powell.
