Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at the Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery in Ethel, Mississippi for Lessie Furlow Mayeaux, 74 of Taylorsville, who passed away on Friday, September 13, 2019 at the Magnolia Gardens Nursing Home in Ellisville.

Reverend Darrell Coats will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Tabernacle Methodist Church Cemetery in Ethel, Mississippi.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Mayeaux was born on August 7, 1945 in Jackson, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  Mrs. Mayeaux was a homemaker.  She was a member of the Calhoun Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lance Mayeaux; her parents, William Henry Furlow and Ethel Marie Givens Furlow; and one son, Richard Allen "Ricky" Rone.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Brian Rone of Melbourne, Florida, and Charles David Rone of Brandon; one brother, Curtis Furlow; one sister, Grace Furlow; and a granddaughter, Charlotte Rone.
