Linda Faye Holly
(January 10, 1951 – June 18, 2022)
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Linda Faye Holly, 71, of Sumrall, who passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home and also from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home.
Reverend Steve Miller will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Smyrna Landmark Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Seminary.
Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Blakely Knight, Chris Knotts, Scotty McRaney, Trevor Hamilton, Kenny Pack, and Greg Knight.
Mrs. Holly was born on January 10, 1951 in Seminary, Mississippi to Ernest and Tressie Ingram Knight. She was a loving wife, mother, nana, and sister. Mrs. Holly retired from the Jackson County School System after twenty-five plus years of service as a teacher's assistant. She was a devoted member of Liberty Baptist Church where she was active in the Hospitality Services of the Church. Mrs. Holly was a member of the Jackson County Order of the Eastern Star.
She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Holly also enjoyed traveling.
She was preceded in death by her stepson, Brad Holly; and her father, Ernest Knight.
Survivors include her husband of sixteen years, Buster Holly of Sumrall; one son, Stacey Holifield, and his wife, Shona of Collins; one daughter, Tracey Quick, and her husband, Heath of Seminary; one stepson, Richard Holly of Biloxi; her mother, Tressie Ingram Eubanks of Mt. Olive; two brothers, Emile Knight and Blake Knight, and his wife, Candie, all of Seminary; six grandchildren, Eden White (Kevin) of Collins, Cody Quick of Seminary, Trent Quick of Seminary, Halle Holifield of Collins, Heidi Quick of Seminary, and Macey Holifield of Collins, and a host of nieces and nephews.
