Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Cold Springs Baptist Church in Collins for Linda Jo Murphy Denham, 70 of Florence, who passed away on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the Arrington Living Center in Collins.

Reverend Malcolm Pinion and Reverend Billy Purser will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Pauline Lightsey and Ms. Dori Lowe. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Cold Springs Baptist Church in Collins.

Pallbearers will be Dalton Harvey, Sean Nichols, Greg Denham, David Lightsey, Collins Lightsey, and Lane Lowe.

Mrs. Denham was born on September 8, 1947 in Collins, Mississippi. She was a graduate of the Mount Olive High School Class of 1965. Mrs. Denham was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a retired property manager and cosmetologist. Mrs. Denham was a member of the Briarhill Baptist Church in Florence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bela Lavell Murphy and Lena Stewart Murphy.

Survivors include her husband of thirty years, Gordon G. Denham of Florence; two sons, Richard "Ricky" Harvey of Collins, and Shad Nichols of Mendenhall; one brother, Harlon Wayne Murphy of Yuba City, California; one sister, Deloris Ann Lightsey Willoughby of Columbia; three grandchildren, Dalton Harvey, Samantha Nichols, and Sean Nichols; one great-granddaughter, Jozzie Bolton; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
