Lori Kathryn Barrett

(October 31, 1976 - January 4, 2022)

A private family service will be held at a later date for Lori Kathryn Barrett, 45 of Collins, who passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Miss Barrett was born on October 31, 1976, in Flowood, Mississippi.  She was a loving daughter, mother, and grandmother.  Miss Barrett was a homemaker by trade.  She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Daniel Barrett, Jr. and her stepfather, Danny Valentine.

Survivors include her mother, Patricia Lucas Valentine of Collins; six children, Anna Elizabeth Welford (Devin Mobbs) of Collins, Kaleb Walker of Brandon, Gracie Walker of Florence, Jeremy Valentine, James Lucas Valentine, and Isaiah Rayborn Valentine, all of Collins; two sisters, April Valentine Yates (Michael) and April Jones, all of Collins; one brother, Ray Dew of Collins; two grandchildren, Daniel Mobbs and Raven Mobbs.
