Mrs. Mackie Louise Sanford Moulds

(September 27, 1928 – September 19, 2021)

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Mackie Louise Sanford Moulds, 92 of Collins, who passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at her residence.

Reverend Ralph Sanford, Reverend Steve Miller, and Miss Nikki Newell will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Collins.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Highway 49, Collins, MS 39428.

Pallbearers will be Woody Lyons, Pat Sanford, Cody Moulds, Jamie Moulds, Slade Moulds, and Bobby Brooks.  Honorary pallbearers will be Lynwood Williams and David Shoemake.

Mrs. Moulds was born on September 27, 1928 in Collins, Mississippi to H.C. and Fannie McDonald Sanford.  She was one of eight children.  Mrs. Moulds was a loving wife, mother, nana, and sister.  She retired from the Covington County Hospital after twenty-five plus years of service as the Purchasing Agent and Director of Housekeeping.  Mrs. Moulds was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church in Collins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, H.C. and Fannie McDonald Sanford; her husband, James Howard Moulds; two daughters, Carolyn Moulds and Debbie Moulds Stewart; two sons-in law, Kim Grayson and David Stewart; three sisters, Myrtle Sanford Lyons (Sherwood), Hazel Sanford Keys (Benton), and Nell Sanford; four brothers, Hilburn Sanford, H.C. Sanford, Dewitt Sanford, and Pat Sanford (Peggy).

Survivors include two sons, Mackie Howard Moulds, and his wife, Phyllis of Collins, and Michael Moulds of Collins; two daughters, Cara Moulds Overton of Collins, and Pam Moulds Grayson of Hattiesburg; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Jaunice Sanford of Collins and Louise Sanford of Petal; and a host of nieces and nephews.
