Make "Junior" Craft

(January 24, 1934 – October 30, 2022)

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins for Make "Junior" Craft, 88, of Sanford, who passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022, at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Brother Clay Ingram will officiate the services with interment to follow in the Bullock Cemetery in Sanford. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, 3302 Hwy 49, Collins, Mississippi.

Pallbearers will be Debra Aycock, Jackie Aycock, Ronnie McKenzie, Randy Craft, Crawford Sullivan, and Kyle Sullivan.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dee Nelson, Cc Nelson, Tim Nelson, Ken Nelson, and Andrew McKenzie.

Mr. Junior was reared and lived in the Sanford community. He worked in construction as a young man, but spent the majority of his life as an independent wood logger. A lover of the outdoors, he was known for his physical strength and strong work ethic. He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Make John Craft and Alma Riels Craft; six brothers, Ben Craft, Jeff Craft, Lonnie Craft, LC Craft, Charles Craft and James Craft; and one sister, Vivian Craft.

Survivors include a multitude of nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
