Malcolm Ray Willis

(November 27, 1965 – October 2, 2023)

Celebration of Life services will be held at The Springs Church on Saturday, October 21, at 2:00 pm for Malcolm Ray Willis, 57 of Seminary, who passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at his residence in Collins, MS.

Brother West Garner will officiate at the services.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Malcolm was known as Mac to many of his friends and family, but his most treasured name to be called was "PawPaw." He loved his family, his friends, and God. Malcolm was married to his soul mate, Nancy, for 20 beautiful years. Together they created a wonderful home that holds lots of memories. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and spending time with his grandbabies. His soul would light the moment he would speak of them. He never shyed away from telling a joke just to see a smile on everyone's face. He was never afraid to laugh at himself or his own jokes, and that laugh, man that infectious laugh could be heard from miles away. The impression that he leaves behind will forever be remembered as selfless and pure of heart. He will be genuinely missed and remembered as a great man who loved hard and gave it his everything. We love and miss you so until we meet again it's see you later.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Freeman; mother, Patsy LeMaire; brother, James Freeman; step-father, DP Willis.

Survivors include his wife, Nancy Sumrall Willis of Collins, MS;  sons, Chad Willis (Jessica) of Poplarville, Colin Willis (Heather) of Seminary and Jason Sanford of Seminary;  daughters, Brittney Willis Walker (Mark) of Houma, LA and Kristin Sanford Carter (Brent) of Sumrall;  brothers, Rickey Willis (Michelle), Terry Willis (Lupe), Scottie LeMaire, William Freeman, Jr., Joseph Freeman (Jenna);  sisters, Tammy Gaspard (Jamie), Essie Susano (Eric), Genny Bigbe (Michael) and Althea June Freeman.
