A family graveside service will be held at a later date for Marcus Ray Finch, 74 of Hattiesburg, and formerly of Mount Olive, who passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at the Forrest General Hospital.

Interment will be in the Rock Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Mount Olive. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Finch was born on July 3, 1942 in Mount Olive, Mississippi. He retired from Ingalls Shipyard after numerous years as a welder. Mr. Finch was a member of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley L. Finch and Edna Coulter Finch.

Survivors include his brother and sister-in-law, Wiley P. (Pete) and Mary Finch of Owasso, Oklahoma; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
