Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home for Margaret Russell Dossett, 91 of Collins, who passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Covington County Nursing Center.

Reverend Brian Dickens and Reverend West Garner will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Cold Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Pauline Lightsey. Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Billy M. King Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins.

Mrs. Dossett was born on Friday, March 26, 1926 in Covington County, Mississippi. She was a loving wife, Mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Dossett was a retired nurses aide. She was a member of the Cold Springs Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Estus and Vallie F. Russell; her husband, Virgil H. 'Buddy' Dossett; three brothers, Randall Russell, James Russell, and Granville Russell; one sister, Hazel Hollingsworth; and one great-granddaughter, Kaylan "K.K." Ainsworth.

Survivors include two sons, John Haskel Dossett (Dorothy), and Billy Frank Dossett (Barbara), all of Collins; one brother, Marvin Russell of Hattiesburg; five grandchildren, Dondra Hendry (Randy) of Hattiesburg, Valerie Dossett of Birmingham, Alabama, Bubba Dossett of Hattiesburg, Brian Dossett (Angela) of Collins, and Chris Ainsworth (Lisa) of Hattiesburg; and six great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Sanford, Darrell Lightsey, Greg Saulters, Nathan McNair, Dale Hollingsworth, James Howard Kennedy, and George Lightsey.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dorothy Hearn, Ozella Spence, and Jessie Sanford.
