Graveside services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at the J.W. Bryant Cemetery in Seminary for Marilyn Elaine Clark Lowery, 77 of Seminary, who passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at her son's residence in Laurel.

Elder Joe Lott, and Elder Everette Broome will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the J.W. Bryant Cemetery in Seminary.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Walker Sullivan, Dusty Moeller, James Hudnall, Jeremy Hudnall, Cameron Carson, and Zachary Lowery.

Mrs. Lowery was born on August 22, 1943 in Seminary, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.  Mrs. Lowery was a homemaker by trade.  She was a member of the Sanford Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elder Edward Bennett Lowery; and her parents, Arthur James Clark and Queenie Victoria Williams Clark.

Survivors include one son, Clark Lowery, and his wife, Sheila of Laurel; two daughters, Jane Lowery Hudnall, and her husband, Thomas of Poplarville and Lynn Lowery Johnson of Laurel; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rachel Clark Browning of Clinton and Doris Clark Shellabarger of Flower Mound, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.
