Martha Fewell Napier

(August 10, 1939 – June 17, 2025)

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 20, 2025, at the Pike County Memorial Gardens in McComb, Mississippi for Martha Fewell Napier, 85 of Hattiesburg, who passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at the Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.

Mr. Phillip Butler will officiate at the services with interment to follow in the Pike County Memorial Gardens in McComb, Mississippi.  Special music will be provided by Mr. Philip Butler.  Billy M. King-Colonial Chapel Funeral Home in Collins will be in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. Napier was born on August 10, 1939, in Covington County, Mississippi to Reverend H.L. and Jewell Rayborn Fewell.  She received a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from William Carey College and a Master's Degree from the University of Southern Mississippi.  Mrs. Napier retired after twenty-plus years of teaching from the Laurel Public School System.  She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend H.L. and Jewell Rayborn Fewell.

Survivors include her two brothers and sisters-in law, Howard Fewell (Pat) of Mendenhall, MS and Tommy Fewell (Edy) of Sumrall, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews.
